I didn’t like them. They were anti-Semites and they didn’t like women and they didn’t like me, because I was a, at that time probably a pushy little broad. And they weren’t interested in people like me.

So, I wonder if there is a relationship, or is it purely ironic?  Surely it will be picked up.

I wonder if MM will spend time in Palmerston North seeking out the Jewish Community.  I seriously doubt that she will bother, even though she is performing on Rosh Chodesh, which has significance to Women in Judaism.  And I'm not even mentioning her disgraceful support of Boycotting Israeli goods, artists and academics.

Jewish school attacked in France

This week saw some terrible news:  In France, a gunman attacked a Jewish school, and killed 4 people, including 3 children

Often when news appears like this we get caught up thinking "That's so far away", "it's completely different there".  For New Zealanders, most will not know of any local Jewish schools.  These are schools that receive regular threats via phone and post.  Schools that have to employ full time security guards.  As recently as 1990, there was a serious knife attack on students at Kadimah college in Auckland by a deranged woman.

Australia has much worse threats.  As a parent of children at Jewish Primary schools and kindergartens, it is very worrying.  We have terrorists in jail now that were planning attacks on Jewish Community centers.  This article eerily appeared in The Age in January.  Sadly, threats against Jewish lives, including children is very real here.

Whilst condemned the Muslim community in France stated they would "pray for the victims", it is sadly clear that many regard him as hero. 

In Australia and NZ, we have seen a few generalised condolence messages.  Mostly, it has been quiet.  Lets hope we never see a tragedy of this kind, that we need to ask ourselves the hard questions of how to prevent it.  Especially in the light of the Urewera trial.

Israeli art scammers

Stuff today reported that a team of Israeli art scammers have been told to leave New Zealand
Note:  Stuff's original headline was "Israelis told to quit the country", before they decided they needed to identify the specific group.

The scheme involved them knocking from door to door with a satchel of unframed paintings, saying they are art students that are looking help support themselves.  They are very friendly and polite, and are willing to talk you through every painting they have, and the style in which they did it.

I have to admit.  I have one of these paintings on a back wall.  From many years ago (in our old house, before we were even married).  I wanted to help these poor Israelis.  I know many people in Caulfield that do.

I have to say that in many ways I think it is Enterprising.  They were students, probably on their gap year, after the mandatory army service, where they have to put up with the daily horrors of Palestinian terror.  Living in a peaceful country like Australia or New Zealand, they are just trying to support themselves.

Except however it is dishonest, and because of that they lose their visitor visas.  This I agree with, and they need to realise that they are giving all Israelis a bad name.  Australians see so many rorts, that it wouldn't probably raise an eyebrow.  New Zealanders however are very trusting, and have long memories.  Uncovering something like this will cut much deeper.

I'm sure that every ethnic migrant or student visa group has some kind of rort or scam.  Many are much more sinister.  Drug smuggling, black markets, prostitution, people smuggling and worse.  Have a look at the local Mafias - many were started by migrant groups.  Selling cheap art door to door is mild in comparison.

New Zealand's first dead MP elected

30th November 2024:  After counting special votes, the NZ Green Party picked up an extra seat in Parliament, allowing the first ever dead MP to enter as an elected official.  Ureupoko McLennan-O'Donovan, the 46th candidate on the Green list, was able to enter parliament after the Greens picked up an additional 5000 votes on specials.

McLennan-O'Donovan euthanaised himself last year via lethal injection after uploading his conscience to a computer.  Greens Co-co-co-co-co leader, Mojo Mathers, herself the first ever deaf MP said it was a very proud moment for the country.  "Over the last 10 years, the Greens have been able to enter MPs that have broken barriers.  Paraplegics, Tetraplegics, Quadraplegics, Amputee, Autistic, Dyslexic, HIV Postive, Bipolar, Alzeimers,  Down Syndrome, Androgenous, Parkinsons and Amnesiacs have all realised their dreams to become MPs via the Green party, but this is a new step.".

She did also mention that she preferred the term 'Living Impaired' rather than 'dead'.  "We need to recognise that dead people are still people".

"McLennan-O'Donovan took the ultimate step from being a Carbon Dioxide polluting parasite to the world, to being a sustainable solar powered intellect.  We will also be partitioning the speaker to ensure that adequate support is given to his holographic interface in parliament"

Unfortunately, due to an apparent software defect, McLennan-O'Donovan's vocabulary has been limited to just a few phrases such as "Hear hear", "Down with Tories!" and "FIC!".  This should mean that he fits right in as a Green MP.

The two sole elected MPs for the Labour Party, Clare Curran and Trevor Mallard welcomed McClennan-O'Donovan.  "We congratulate our Junior Left wing partners", said Curran.  "Once again this shows that the Left is the moral majority of the nation, as long as you include all the cemetaries".

New Zealand First also took a keen interest.  "For some reason, our voter base is extremely interested in this technology", a party spokesperson said today.  "We are actually keen to try it on Winston Peters, however as yet we have been unable to locate his conscience."

Finally, Mathers was asked if there was any further ground the party wished to break.  "We need to invest more in safeguarding the first inhabitants of Aoteroa, and as such we will be looking to get representatives from the native Tuis and Kauri trees next.".  Mathers was then asked why it was that the Greens had never had an MP of Jewish descent.  "You know, there just never seems to be any space available.", she signed.

Liberal MP Kelly O'Dwyer has delivered a scathing attack on the Greens in the house of reps

I've met Kelly, and she is a very talented MP, and her statements on the hypocrisy of the Greens are spot on.

Still, it's really just stating the obvious, and reiterating what has been highlighted with the Greens internal problems with BDS over the last year.  We should be scared that they are running the country via the marriage with Labor.

Protest against Israel .. at a Jewish Synagogue!

News broke yesterday that the local Anti-Israel crackpots were planning a protest outside a synagogue in Melbourne, on a Saturday afternoon

These morons usually stick to protesting Chocolate shops on Friday nights when any opposition will be sharing time with their families.  This time, they stupidly announced that they are clearly attacking Jewish Religion, not just the state of Israel.

Of course its not the first time.  In other centers, the protests are regularly outside the Shules.  Just look at the racist protests of John Minto in Auckland, or the Workers party in Wellington.  Strange also to protest ultra orthodox Adass, who don't officially believe the state of Israel can be created until Moshiach arrives.  To be fair, many non-ultra regular shule goers also attend this shule.

They changed their mind, and decided to move the protest to an office building.  I think this is more out of fear, that the 20 or so people that might show up will probably face thousands that reject their racist BS.

What a useless protest it will be, outside an empty office block in St Kilda Rd, with nobody listening from level 8.  Idiots.  Main protagonist is some whacko who has changed her name to "Vashti Jane".
